Frontier development of global functional textiles
Release date:2020-6-12 Number of reading:466Second
The development of personal protective equipment, medical textiles, safe and durable fiber materials for transportation and construction, and high-performance composite materials show a huge development space for functional textiles. At present, the research on this topic mainly includes: (1) functional shielding materials, mainly thermal or noise isolation and protection, filtration / separation media and biological, chemical, radiation and nuclear pollution (CBRN) protection (2) composite structural materials, including three-dimensional structure textiles, sandwich structure materials and mechanical reinforced composite materials (3) interactive fiber materials It usually has three functions: sensitivity, reactivity and usability, including flexible sensor products, energy conversion products and fiber products added with various chemical modifiers (4) environmentally friendly fiber materials, mainly including biopolymers and their fibers and fiber materials based on renewable resources (such as the utilization of cellulose resources).
In recent years, polymer submicron nanofiber (50-1000nm) composite mesh prepared by melt blown process based on the raw materials of polylactic acid (PLA) and polyglycolic acid (PGA) has made progress in the medical field. Compared with the traditional electrospun products, the nanofibers prepared by the improved melt blown process have no difference in processability and structural characteristics, and are more suitable for large-scale production.
Nano cellulose, which is made from wood pulp, straw, beet and starch, has entered the commercial market. Among them, the density of cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) is only 1.5g/cm3, and the fracture strength is even better than that of steel and carbon fiber. Therefore, the good performance of nano cellulose reinforced composites has been paid more and more attention in the field of fiber materials. The development of nano cellulose flexible electrical products, such as flexible display panel, led, solar cell and self powered products, has also promoted the market development of electroactive polymers and interactive intelligent textiles.
Research practice shows that biological and nano technology is an important way to develop functional polymers and fiber products. The integration of miniaturization of bioengineering and active conductive polymer technology greatly promotes the progress of wearable technology and portable energy technology.
Intelligent textiles are derived from the integration of fiber materials interdisciplinary with electricity, measurement, computer science, etc. its products show technical characteristics of energy storage, communication, data processing and sensor / brake functions. In recent years, the application of intelligent textiles in telemedicine is particularly concerned. The physiological signals of patients'' activities can be continuously transmitted to doctors.
The iTech style summit 2017 is optimistic that the technological progress of smart textiles will promote great changes in traditional medical methods. The traditional medical mode, that is, doctors face patients, and the necessary clinical examination needs to be completed in a special room will change. It is expected that a flexible examination system will be formed in 2020 diagnosis, medical treatment and nursing can be carried out at the patient''s home in 2025 and a personal remote diagnosis and treatment platform will appear in 2030.
